Any LASO Red Angus bull and/or heifer with the GGP-ULD logo have been submitted for enhanced DNA testing. The parentage verification and geneomic enhanced EPDS will be available by sale time.

In 2018, Callipyge Genetics, LLC created a DNA marker set and sequencing system that precisely identified the highest level of beef tenderness. The top tier of beef quality and tender - ness was named Tenet®. Many consider Tenet® to be the most significant breakthrough in the American Beef Industry. Callipyge Genetics contacted LASO Red Angus to introduce Tenet® and discuss a po - tential partnership. Some of the original Tenet® research in the 1990s involved LASO cattle. LASO conducted Tenet® testing and found that their cattle exceeded typical Tenet® levels and were outstanding in beef quality. LASO Red Angus is the first in its breed to offer Certified Tenet® bulls for sale. These bulls have, excellent phenotypes, strong records backed by their EPDs, and, most importantly, demonstrate the highest level of beef quality known to man. W. F.
