And one such valuable aid is the Get Ac quainted Questionnaire for use by junior through senior high teachers. By studying his pupils’ answers, the teacher is briefed on some of their problems, potential capacities, inter ests and personality traits. For instance, insight into a pupil’s values can be gained by studying his choice of entertainment, his selection of heroes and friends, and the quali ties he admires most in them. His progress in social development can be evaluated by the types of clubs he be longs to, how and with whom he spends his leisure time, and whether he is an active participant in sports. His outside job or those tasks as signed to him at home might reveal how much responsibility he can or is willing to assume. Because this type of questionnaire defines the pupils’ weak and strong points, it can be used as a guide for: 1. Re-thinking your lessons’ aim with your pupils’ needs in mind. 2. Delegating jobs within their area of competence.
