Forseth Livestock LLC - Online Sale [4/14/26]

Hello and thank you for taking some time to learn more about Forseth Livestock and this year’s bull offering. Our story is shaped by lots of love, big goals, faith, passion for the cattle industry and deep agricultural roots. This year’s bull sale isn’t just an event on the calendar—it’s the continuation of a family legacy on the Rocky Mountain Front since the Forseth family first homesteaded in 1941. From 1969 to 1981, the ranch (Sunny Slope Ranch) was known for its Polled Hereford bull sales, drawing neighbors and fellow cattlemen together in a tradition that defined an era. After two decades a new door opened for the Forseth family (Jim and Cindy) who shifted their focus toward commercial SimAngus cattle. They remained committed to agriculture and ranching for four more decades, before giving us an opportunity to carry on the tradition. And for that we are very thankful! Raising a family in what truly feels like God’s own country is a blessing. Oliver (8) and Joslynn (6) get to grow up in the dirt, with mountains all around them, and the understanding that good things come from hard work and heart. We appreciate their energy, excitement, and strong opinions. Without them, the bulls and heifers/cows would have boring names, the ranch would have terrible snacks, and our Facebook page would not get near as many ‘likes’ from the grandmas. We also want to recognize Bruce - Anna’s dad, whom we lost in 2023 - whose spark set the timing and momentum that carried this dream forward. After a late night conversation with him at the dinner table in 2020, we made the decision to bring registered SimAngus cows back to the ranch. His belief in us, his encouragement, and his steady presence gave us the confidence to move faster and reach higher than we might have otherwise dared. This year’s offering represents the kind of cattle that move a program forward - bulls selected with discipline, purpose, and a clear focus on traits that matter in both seedstock and commercial herds. Every bull has been evaluated for foot structure, disposition, and calving ease, and are out of dams

with exceptional udder quality and maternal value. EPDs and genomic data were heavily weighted toward marbling, stayability, All-Purpose Index (for balanced maternal and terminal performance), and Terminal Index. To further enhance predictability, RightMate technology provided mating recommendations tailored for each cow. This set of bulls is designed to add value from birth to rail and we are excited to tell you more about them. To everyone who has supported us - whether by offering advice, lending a hand, buying cattle, or simply believing in our vision - your encouragement has meant more than words can express. This sale is a milestone, but it’s also a reminder that no dream is chased alone. ROCKY, ANNA, OLIVER, AND JOSLYNN FORSETH
