Syngenta Flowers is continuously exploring the opportunities to enlarge and improve the assortment available for growers and consumers. In our breeding we focus more and more on a decrease in chemical use during culture. We breed for natural compactness and more built-in disease tolerances in our newest products, without forgetting the adaptation to climate circumstances. In this booklet you will find several highlights of varieties or series that are supporting your sales and development in your area: • Cora XDR (eXtreme Disease Resistance) we add now the Red Glow. A true red color that has a similar resistance against many strains of Phytophtora, as the other colors in the series. • Zinnia Zydeco: It boasts fully double blooms, ensuring lasting impact. Their excellent disease resistance, heat, and drought tolerance guarantee superior performance all season long • Sunflower Sunfinity Yellow Dark Center gets now a sister with the Yellow Red Bicolor. It is a great consumer plant, producing more than 100
flowers per plant and lasting at least 3 months in the garden. It creates a completely new image for the Sunflower as a garden plant, but also to be used as a cut flower. • Pentas BeeBright, uniform, compact and well- branched plants, with fast flower follow up, in a large pallet of five unique colors • Cleome Sparkler 2.0, to bring beauty in season and to add some spark to the garden, with attractive flowers, ideal for sun places and being drought tolerant • And without forgetting the “Heat Lover” program offers sun- and heat-tolerant varieties that withstand occasional drought. These low-maintenance plants, suitable for borders or containers, require less water and quickly recover from wilting, leaving you more time to enjoy your flowers.
