The dark canyons are creepy enough on their own at night, but add the echo of a chainsaw or a scream, and the scare level jumps to a whole new level.” The length of the trail is approximately a quarter of a mile. Haunted Village The Lincoln County Historical Museum teams up with the Lady Knights softball team to create a unique and horrifying experience, the Haunted Village. Each year they develop a new theme that overtakes the village and provides one of the scariest haunted experiences in the county! Dusty’s Pumpkin Fest at the Codys’ Enjoy fun fall events at one of North Platte’s most historic properties, Buffalo Bill State Historical Park. Dusty’s Pumpkin Fest includes games, Fun Jumpz, roping, bumper balls, giant game tables- checkers and pumpkin tic-tac-toe, corn hole, big building blocks, wagon rides, petting zoo, duck pump races, corn crib and a giant hay slide.
