Heritage Festival June — Postponed to July or August . Located at the Lincoln County Historical Museum, 2403 N. Buffalo Bill Ave., North Platte. 7:30pm on Friday, 10am-4pm on Saturday, and 12pm-4pm on Sunday. Entertainment, living history re-enactments, ethnic food, tractor and carriage exhibitions.
June 13 – Melvin, Swanson, Halligan Memorial Steer Wrestling. Located at the in Arena, Sutherland, NE, starting at 1pm
Every Saturday — Farmers Market. Come browse the locally home- grown veggies and other goodies at the North Platte Farmers Market at the Platte River Mall, 1000 S. Dewey St. , Saturdays 8am to 1pm.
June 3-29 — Competitive Art Show at the Prairie Arts Center, 516 N. Dewey. Shows daily beginning at 11am.
June — Grape and Sizzle at the Holiday Inn Express. Join the Nebraska Cattlewomen for an evening of wine, beer and, of course, BEEF. The pro- ceeds of the event go to local charities. J une — Camp Maranatha Triathlon, 16800 E. Maranatha Road, Maxwell. Enjoy your swim, ride and stride in the great outdoors at Camp Marana- tha! Featuring an open-water 550-yard swim (walking lane available), 14-mile bike ride and a 5K run, on gravel and dirt surfaces. 8am. An evening of heartfelt prose, poetry, music and fun for all! Twice a month, the second and fourth Fridays, beginning at 7pm. Donations of $1-10 are appreciated but not necessary.
