Most of the social workers that attend the needs of the community deal with generic issues but there need to be more social workers that deal with GBVF. There is a difference between gender activism and feminism. My call is to invite like-minded men to the conversation. There is a need to understand and deal with generational violence because when that is not dealt with because it is trauma- based, there is a strong inclination to default to that setting, no matter how reformed one can be.
