Day 5: Erice - Selinunte - Agrigento Morning visit to the Archaeological Park of Segesta where you’ll see one of Sicily’s best-preserved Doric temples. Proceed to the town of Erice with its imposing fortified walls overlooking the city of Trapani. The day continues with a stop for marzipan and biscuit tasting. Drive to Agrigento and stay overnight at the Hotel Dioscuri Bay Palace. Day 6: Valley of the Temples - Piazza Armerina - Taormina Morning visit to the Valley of the Temples, one of the world’s most impressive ancient Greek sites. Afternoon drive to the elegant resort town of Taormina via Piazza Armerina to view the Roman mosaics of Villa Romana del Casale. Stay two nights at Hotel Villa Diodoro (or similar). Day 7: Mount Etna Visit the highest active volcano in Europe, Mount Etna, for panoramic views. Stop at a local vineyard for wine tasting. Afternoon guided tour of Taormina. Day 8: Fly to the UK Your tour with us comes to an end today, we wish you farewell as you transfer to Catania Airport for your flight back to the UK.

Day 1: Fly from the UK to Catania Disembark from your UK flight to Catania and transfer to Syracuse. Stay at the Grande Albergo (or similar) and meet your fellow group members with a few welcome drinks to start your journey. Day 2: Syracuse - Noto Tour Syracuse, including the Greek theatre, considered one of the most important examples of its kind; the Ear of Dionysius, and the island of Ortygia.
