A. The principle of the verse you mentioned is again ennunciated in Genesis 3:19. Lazarus was certainly an exception, as well as others in Scripture who had restoration to physical existence. This does not change the situation in any way. Such exceptions do not violate the rule, but were used as specific illus trations by our Lord. Q. Phoenix, Ariz. There are a number of people in the healing profession who are not motivated by God. They are actu ally opposed to the Gospel and have no good word for our Lord Jesus Christ. Under the commission of God, Satan could do a number of things (II Thessalonians 2:9). Sa tan is going to be a counterfeiter. The devil can heal if God permits him to. One way to determine whether God is in it is to see what the person healing thinks about the death of Christ and His saving grace.
