WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE: Our diverse and welcoming community inspires members to achieve personal and professional fulfilment through volunteer opportunities and meaningful engagement.
We know their contributions are truly invaluable. In fact, if our volunteers were salaried staff, it would cost APEGA millions of dollars to compensate them for their time. Instead, we recognize their commitment by honouring them with years-of-service milestones.
Our hundreds of volunteers give their time, talent, and energy to APEGA in many ways, including: •acting as mentors and role models to help new professionals kick-start their careers •inspiring a love of engineering and geoscience through student outreach •building their professions and their communities as local branch ambassadors •sharing their expertise on APEGA’s regulatory boards and committees
