Scripps Mercy Ball Celebrating growth and innovation with a ball by the bay
ORE THAN 400 GUESTS CELEBRATED Scripps Mercy Hospital’s legacy of caring for the community at the 49th Annual Scripps Mercy Ball—and got a glimpse of its future. The black-tie event at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina on Saturday, April 22, featured cocktails, a live auction, dinner and dancing along a bayside backdrop. Proceeds from the gala benefit the Scripps Here for Good Campaign, which helps fund Scripps Mercy Hospital’s master plan for growth and innovation. In recent years, Scripps Mercy Hospital, San Diego, has opened the Prebys Cancer Center and the Woltman Family College Building to better serve the diverse needs of the growing community. The next steps in Scripps’ redevelopment plans for Scripps Mercy Hospital include a new hospital tower that will be home to state-of-the-art surgical suites, a labor and delivery unit and neonatal intensive care unit.
