WINEMAKERS’ DINNERS

Beckmen Vineyards Wednesday, January 29, 2025 | 6 pm Reception Price: Wine Club Members $140++

The Thomas and Judith Beckmen Estate Vineyard is 40 acres (25 planted) of rolling hills situated on the western border of the Los Olivos District. This top-tier single vineyard has a slightly warmer climate and a gravelly, well-drained soil, which allow the winemaker to focus on Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as small amounts of Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah. The most unique feature of this vineyard is its limestone subsoil which is only found in a few corners of the central coast. These soils are prized in regions like Champagne, Burgundy, and the Southern Rhône Valley for producing wines with intense flavors and complexity. The 125-acre vineyard runs up the southwestern slope of a mountain, gaining 500 feet in elevation with multiple exposures across its slopes. The wine- maker has found that the white wine grapes and Rhône-style grapes, such as Syrah, Grenache, Mour - vèdre, and Counoise, thrive in the Purisima Mountain yard. Over the years, Syrah has risen in the ranks to become the winery flagship variety, loved for its consistency and complexity. Beckmen wines have been served in the finest restaurants and houses in the country (including the White House).

Dry Creek Vineyard Wednesday, February 19, 2025 | 6 pm Reception Price: Wine Club Members $150++

Dry Creek Vineyard is one of the last truly private, family-owned, iconic wineries consistently producing 90+ point wines. The second generation is firmly

committed to a “no compromises” philosophy, producing world-class, appellation-focused, varietal- defining wines. They have shifted their winemaking practices and vineyard management to maximize flavors and reflect their home region. To sum it all up, this legacy wine family is taking a smaller and slower approach in a world where things are getting bigger and faster. “For over 50 years, we have passionately crafted the best wines in the region from a combination of estate- grown and purchased grapes from small local family farms. We are 100% certified sustainable and are constantly looking to raise the bar in all that we do. We don’t cut corners; we go the extra mile. And above all, we care deeply about our wines, our vineyards, and our customers.”

Duckhorn Vineyards Wednesday, March 26, 2025 | 6 pm Reception Price: Wine Club Members $150++

Co-founded by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn in 1976, Duckhorn Vineyards has spent nearly fifty years establishing itself as one of North America’s premier producers of Napa Valley wines. From its modest inaugural vintage of 800 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon and 800 cases of Merlot in 1978, to its addition of Sauvignon Blanc in 1982, Duckhorn Vineyards has crafted a tradition of quality and excellence that continues today. “From the first vintage in 1978, Duckhorn Vineyards has been committed to crafting wines of distinction. In the fall of this year, our 2014 Napa Valley Merlot Three Palms Vineyard was named Wine Spectator’s 2017 #1 Wine of the Year. This honor serves as a testament to producing wines of the highest quality under the stewardship of winemaker Renée Ary.”
