COURTS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

COURTS RULES The following courts rules apply exclusively to Member who are in good standing and their guests or tenants. Court Facilities means the entire Court complex, including but not limited to the Courts Pavilion.

Liability:Owners and Invitees. Owners and Invitees shall use the Courts at their own risk and shall assume sole responsibility for their personal property. The Association and their members, officers, employees, affiliates, rep - resentatives, and agents shall not be held liable for personal injury to any person, nor for loss or damage to personal property used or stored at the Courts, whether in lockers, storage, or elsewhere. Each Owner and Invitee shall be legally and financially responsible for his or her acts or missions, as well as those of his or her guests. Each Owner and Invitee shall indemnify and hold the Association and its members, officers, employees, affiliates, representatives, and agents harmless from any loss, cost, claim, injury or damage incurred by the Owner, Invitee or their guests, or arising out of the conduct of the Owner, Invitee or their guests. Personal property left by any person on the Courts premises and not claimed within thirty (30) days may be disposed of without notice. 2. Court reservations by Members may be made a maximum of one (1) week in advance and guests/tenants without a Member may make a reservation a maximum of three (3) days in advance. 3. Lesson courts will be under the jurisdiction of the Courts Director, and may include two (2) courts. Playing Time 1. Playing time per court shall be two hours, and may be extended for longer play by court staff or, if no court staff, based on availability. 2. Association-sponsored events shall take priority over daily routine schedules. Cancellation/No Show 1. Failure to cancel from a court event at least 24 hours in advance may result in full charge for that event. Evening Lights 1. Evening players must turn off the lights unless others are waiting for the court. 2. Lights shall only be used during posted hours. Lessons 1. Instruction for Members and non-Members and use of the ball machine are available from the Courts staff. 2. No instruction of any kind is allowed by visiting instructors unless approved by the Courts Director. 3. Players will be charged for not showing up for a scheduled lesson unless they cancel at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the lesson time. Club Championship Play 1. Only adult Members in good standing may participate. 2. Children of Members may not participate in the Club Championship.

Guest and Tenant Rules 1. Members must register their guests or tenants prior to the use of the courts, and are responsible for all costs incurred by them, as well as their conduct and dress. 2. The host Member must make all reservations for guests. Non-Members may be required to pay a guest Fee as approved by the Board of Directors on an annual basis. Outside Tournaments/Leagues/Events 1. The Courts Director must receive permission from the Board of Directors to allow use of the Courts Facilities for outside tournaments, leagues and events. General Rules and Regulations 1. All Members and their Invitees may be required to check in for play at the Courts Pavilion PRIOR to going on the courts, and must observe any instructions given by the Courts staff. 2. Good court etiquette will prevail at all times and shall include sportsmanship and respect for fellow players. 3. Pets, skates, and skateboards are prohibited at the Courts Facilities. 4. The Courts Facilities is a non-smoking area. 5. Non-playing children (less than the age of 14) must be under the supervision of an adult at all times. Dress Standards 1. Proper tennis/pickleball attire must always be worn, and includes collared shirts, t-shirts, and gym shorts. 2. Length of skirts, skorts, and shorts MUST be no shorter than mid-thigh. 3. No swimsuits and clothing that may be inappropriate in a family environment allowed. 4. Shirts must be worn at all times. 5. Shorts cannot expose the buttocks. 6. Court shoes only. 7. No black-soled shoes or high heels are allowed on the courts. Court Reservations 1. Court reservations may be made at the Courts Pavilion or by calling the Courts reser - vations phone number on the Association website. Courts reservations may also be made online as identified on the Member portal.
