Make the Most of Valentine’s Day With These Local Events

As we head into the heart of the Valentine’s Day season, it can be hard to find the right gift for your loved one. While some appreciate gifts, others may appreciate quality time and the chance to make unforgettable memories. We understand that sometimes life can get in the way of planning the right Valentine’s Day celebration, so to ensure your special day goes off without a hitch, here are some of the best local events coming up in Morristown!

Joy of Painting.” Admission is $30 per person, and best of all, these paintings can be a wonderful token of an unforgettable experience for you and your significant other.

Mommy & Me Valentine Tea Party

On Feb. 9, join the rest of the community at the Fox Den Country Club for the seventh annual Mommy & Me Valentine Tea Party! Spend quality time with your little one from 2–3:30 p.m. as you enjoy treats, tea, sandwiches, and various games. Want to show your daughter the fun of manicures? Mini manicures are also provided, along with photo opportunities and valentine card making! Tickets are $45 for two and $25 more for each additional little one.

Berries & Chocolate Wine Trail

On Feb. 15, join fellow wine connoisseurs for a day filled with wine tastings at three beautiful locations. Each glass of wine you enjoy is paired with decadent chocolate and berries at each of the three areas: Mountain Valley Winery, Hillside Winery, and Mill Bridge Winery. Each location is just a mile or less apart, and each venue serves a different selection of berries and chocolate. After you’ve visited all three sites, you finish out your day with a commemorative wine glass. Tickets are just $30, so make sure to purchase them before the event sells out! Parrott-Wood Memorial Library Valentine’s Day Feature: ‘Me Before You’

On Feb. 13, join the cinephile community at the Parrott-Wood Memorial Library from 4–6 p.m. for a Valentine’s Day classic: “Me Before You.” If you’re unfamiliar, the film highlights a young caregiver’s wild ride as her relationship with her patient turns romantic. The movie is expertly cast with Emilia Clark and Sam Claflin headlining the film. The best part is that the event is free for anyone to attend and is just 30 minutes outside of Morristown!

Bob Ross Painting Class: Purple Haze

On Feb. 11, join fellow Bob Ross aficionados for a four-hour session of relaxation and painting instruction. Joyce Allison, a certified Bob Ross instructor, will help you complete a 16” x 20” painting utilizing the Bob Ross
