Design Thinking Framework

Design Thinking is based on a methodology used by designers and architects to solve complex problems. Rather than being analytical and problem-focused, it is solution-focused, taking a practical approach to creativity and providing valuable time and cost-saving methodology for accelerating innovations in organizations. Enterprise Design Thinking is a framework used to collaborate, align teams and form intent to solve users’ problems with the empathetic idea of improving customer experiences at speed and scale the modern enterprises demands. The focus is on the outcomes that delight users and deliver increased value to meet business goals and objectives. Design Thinking incorporates critical thinking and creative thinking abilities. Critical Thinking is an intellectually disciplined process of actively and skilfully conceptualizing, applying, analyzing, synthesizing, and evaluating information. This information is gathered from, or generated by, observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, or communication, as a guide to belief and action. Critical Thinking encompasses a logical and analytical tool-box approach of the conscious mind of the concrete known realm. Creative Thinking is a way of looking at problems or situations from a fresh perspective that suggests unusual solutions which may look unsettling at first. It taps into the power of imagination and abstract thinking. Creative Thinking can be stimulated both by an unstructured process such as brainstorming and by a structured process such as Lateral Thinking. Creative thinking taps into the abstract power of the Unconscious mind.
