She was an inspiration and mentor to many and also an innovator with a great sense of vision. The NADOA News went from a newsletter to a bi-monthly magazine format the year Carla was President. Having served as the Newsletter Chairman for several years, Carla was able to help the fledgling magazine stay on track. Always dedicated, determined and very organized, Carla was once described as a true “Steel Magnolia”. She unfailingly had a hug and a smile for her many friends. We are saddened by her passing and will miss her mega-watt smile, infectious laugh and boundless energy. NADOA extends its deepest sympathies to Carla’s family and friends.
