rotary5810.org ON Fire ! Check out the newly re-built from ground up Rotary District 5810 website. Introducing a dynamic, clean look and feel with the Rotary colors, consistent fonts and pages throughout. The web site is more user friendly than ever before with link clicks that get you where you need to go. We cleaned out old information, added new information, added video and YouTube links. We encourage you to put your club events in the District website calendar via clubrunner. The calendar is the place to promote all club service projects, events, socials, fundraising campaigns, etc. To have a banner displayed on the front page, contact Daniel Long at rotary5810@gmail.com. NICARAGUA HEART OF SERVICE ON FIRE! Come join us for our next Nicaragua Heart of Service trip Spring Break 2017. Want to make a difference in the world? Learn about another country’s culture? Ready for a fantastic fun one-of-a-kind unique experience all at the same time? High school and college students are especially welcome. Each year, we work on new projects. In 2016, we painted a public school, helped them with building a classroom and kitchen, and assisted with setting up a water tank so the school could have running water. And then… the second week, we painted a mural at the school we visited the first week, plus we worked with disabled young adults in Granada. Nicaragua Heart of Service affects everyone in different ways realizing the world is abundant of wonderful and giving people. This is your opportunity to experience this joy in your heart. Lisa Leach, attended 2016 Heart of Service Trip, Plano West Rotary Deposit to commitment to attending must be received by December 1, 2016.
