Hello fellow cruise mates and fellow cruise mates’ wannabes! We have over 230 Rotarians ready to board the cruise ship on April 23 rd . It’s not too late to sign up! More information available at Rotary5810.org or contact our Happy Cruise Director at happy.franklin@att.net. You can choose to participate in a number of service and non-service opportunities while at port: Jamaica: a tour of a Special Needs School and hospital; or a tour of an elementary school that will soon be receiving Rotary sponsored water tanks; work hands-on at a pre-school that is receiving a water tank; a no service project tour of ‘just give me the beach’. Cozumel: a visit to CAM Handicap School that has received a $30,000 global grant to provide a computer lab; a hands-on repair work and painting excursion to Centros de Integracion Juvenil, A.C., an organization that provides care, treatment, and a safe place for young recovering addicts; a visit to the Humane Society of Cozumel & Families to gather information on how we can help provide fresh clean water. Grand Cayman : a tour to Cayman Spirits Co Distillery.

Membership Mavericks Recognized at January’s Pre-Cruise Party Each received a complimentary cabin.  Membership Raffle Drawing winner was Gary Embrey from the Rotary Club of Carrollton Farmers Branch  The club that inducted the most members was Rotary Club of Fair Park  The club that experienced the highest membership growth from 7/1-12/31/16 was Rotary Club of Dallas

Rotary Club of McKinney is providing $500 in toothbrushes and toothpaste (which is enough for approximately 700 sets) for school children in Jamaica. They will be handing out these goody bags to the kids when visiting the schools in April on the port day in Jamaica as a service project for our District Conference Cruise.

While aboard the ship on the morning of Saturday, April 29 at 8:30 a.m. we will celebrate the life of past Rotarians at our annual Memorium. To be included, please email the name, birth-death date, picture and Rotary Club to Sandra Moudy at or 469-583-6472.
