YOUTH FOOTBALL

The Raiders have made substantial investment in supporting youth football, donating equipment, funding coach certification and supporting high school games through the engagement of the entire student body and promoting the message of playing football to boys and girls of all ages. The Raiders are proud supporters of high school football throughout the state of Nevada. Since 2018, the Raiders have donated over $170,000 worth of football equipment including helmets, cleats, gloves and uniforms. In 2021, the Raiders continued the ELITE Academy virtual series connecting 50 Raiders players and Alumni with southern Nevada high school athletes. ELITE Academy, a virtual series providing tips, film study and character development from both current and Alumni Raiders. The Raiders honor a coach each week during both the boys and girls high school football seasons with the Tom Flores High School Coach of the Week award. Named after two-time Raiders Super Bowl winning Head Coach and Pro Football Hall-of Famer Tom Flores, the Tom Flores High School Coach of the Week Program is designed to recognize high school football coaches who continuously demonstrate hard work and dedication to their football programs by creating successful teams and players both on and off the field. Through partnerships with USA Football, the Raiders facilitated the certification of 187 youth football coaches across Nevada allowing them to provide exceptional football experiences to their student athletes. Since 2018, The Raiders have conducted over 200 Junior Training Camps (RJTC) in Southern Nevada serving over 25,000 youth. An RJTC features the educational and recreational benefits of football presented in a safe and fun environment for kids regardless of age, gender, ability or experience.
