RAIDERS TACKLE, 1971-73; NFL VETERAN, 1964-73 BROWN BOB

Inducted into Pro Football Hall of Fame on Aug. 8, 2004…Played 10 pro seasons, his final three with the Raiders...First round draft pick (second overall) in the 1964 Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles… Participated in 126 games in pro career…Named first team All-NFL seven times...Earned NFL/NFC Offensive Lineman of the Year honors three times...Elected to six Pro Bowls — three with Eagles, two with Rams and one with Raiders…Named to the NFL’s All-Decade Team of the 1960s…All-NFL seven of his 10 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles (1964-68), L.A. Rams (1969-70) and Oakland Raiders (1971- 73)…Two of the three years he did not make the All-NFL team, he was named second team All-NFL…In 1969, after five consecutive all-league seasons with the Eagles, was traded to Los Angeles and that year the Rams offensive line set an NFL record for protecting the passer… All-America guard at Nebraska, was also drafted in the first round in 1964 by the AFL’s Denver Broncos…Voted college football’s Lineman of the Year in 1963 by the Washington, D.C. Touchdown Club.
