Inducted into Pro Football Hall of Fame on Aug. 6, 2022…Played 12 seasons in the NFL, including his final four years with the Raiders after playing eight seasons in New England…Joined the Raiders via trade just prior to the 2009 season…Played in 164 career games with 157 starts, totaling 57.5 sacks, 498 tackles (326 solo), eight fumble recoveries, four forced fumbles and 91 tackles for loss… Also recorded 39 passes defensed, two interceptions and returned one fumble for a touchdown…A seven-time Pro Bowl selection, including five straight selections from 2002-06…Earned three- straight All-Pro selections from 2003-05…Named All-Pro at both defensive end and defensive tackle…Helped lead New England to three Super Bowl championships in four seasons from 2001-04… Played in four AFC Championship Games and four Super Bowls… Recorded a career-high eight sacks in both 2003 and 2008…Played in 53 games with 52 starts in four seasons with the Raiders…Named to two Pro Bowls with the Silver and Black, earning honors in 2010 and 2011…Totaled 18.5 sacks, 139 tackles (101) and 27 tackles for loss…Tabbed for second team All-Pro honors in 2011 after starting 15 games and posting six sacks…Named to the NFL’s All-Decade Team for the 2000s…Selected by the Patriots in the first round (sixth overall) of the 2001 NFL Draft…Played four years at Georgia, playing in 41 career games and earning first team All-Southeastern Conference honors in both 1999 and 2000…Named All-American as a senior.
