OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR 12TH SEASON IN NFL • 1ST SEASON WITH RAIDERS MICK LOMBARDI

Mick Lombardi enters his first season as offensive coordinator with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022. Lombardi joins the Silver and Black having spent the previous three years with the New England Patriots, serving as the assistant quarterbacks coach in 2019 before being promoted to the wide receivers coach in 2020-21. In 2021, Lombardi guided WR Kendrick Bourne to career highs in receptions (55), receiving yards (800) and touchdowns (five). Under Lombardi’s tutelage, WR Jakobi Meyers hauled in a career-high 83 passes for 866 yards and two touchdowns. He also saw RB Brandon Bolden set career bests for receptions (41) and receiving yards (405). In 2020, Lombardi saw WR Julian Edelman become the second Patriot to reach 600 career receptions, while RB James White became only the second running back in team history with 3,000 career receiving yards in the regular season. Under Lombardi, Meyers recorded 59 receptions for 729 yards, while also passing for two touchdowns. Overall, Patriots wide receivers completed four passes in 2020, the most in team history. In 2019, Lombardi returned for his second stint in New England, serving as the assistant quarterbacks coach. QB Tom Brady threw for 4,000-plus passing yards for the 11th time in his career and became the all-time leader in NFL history with his 17th season of at least 20 passing touchdowns. Prior to rejoining the Patriots, Lombardi served as an offensive assistant/ assistant quarterbacks coach with the New York Jets from 2017-18. In his first season with the Jets, Lombardi helped coach QB Josh McCown to a career season after McCown finished fourth in the NFL with a 67.3 completion percentage, the third best mark in franchise history. McCown finished with 2,926 yards passing, 18 touchdowns and a 94.5 passer rating. Lombardi spent four seasons (2013-16) with the San Francisco 49ers, holding multiple positions during his tenure. In 2016, he served as an offensive quality control coach and helped the 49ers rank fourth in the NFL, rushing for an average of 126.2 yards per game. The offense also finished second in the league in red zone touchdown percentage (68.2 percent). He spent the 2015 season as a defensive assistant after working as an offensive assistant in 2014 and the assistant to the head coach in 2013. Lombardi entered the NFL serving as a scouting assistant from 2011-12 with the Patriots. Lombardi began his coaching career at his alma mater Fordham as a student assistant coach during the 2009-10 seasons, working on film breakdowns and scouting reports and also assisting with the scout team.
