These drive lagging indicators of engagement, retention and suboptimal business performance. Engagement is Consistently Mediocre Gallup estimates that 1/3 of the workforce is engaged and fully dialed in to their role, another 1/3 are functional but simply doing a job to collect and check and provide for themselves/their family and the final 1/3 are looking for the next opportunity to do something else.
