DEFINITIONS
RENEWABLE ENERGY: Energy that is collected from renewable resources which are naturally replenished on a human timescale, such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, waves, and geothermal heat.
GREEN ENERGY: Energy that can be extracted, generated, and consumed without significant adverse environmental impact. The planet has the natural capability to recover, which means that pollution does not go beyond that capability and can still be termed green.
