RTX GIVES BACK
RTX strives to give back to those in need, and the last six months have been no exception. Through large and small actions, we’ve given back to the community via fundraisers and clothing drives. During the holiday season, RTX once again volunteered for Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministries (ABCCM). The organization is a key charity in our office’s area, and we love it because
it provides families with emergency assistance during crisis, coordinates educational activities at the jail, provides transitional housing of the homeless, increases health care access to those in need, and provides work readiness and job placement services. In November, we held a coat drive as the chilly weather set in, gathering a van load of coats and cold weather gear. We also held our annual
CasinoNight fundraiser, whichnettedmore than $24,000 in funds used to purchase gifts for area underprivileged children as part of ABCCM’s Christmas Angel program. RTX employees and employees of our sister companies in Asheville personally went out and bought the items, whichwere then donated to ABCCM for distribution: an entire box truck full!
