Helps on the Pages Where Needed TH E ScofieldReference Bible Edited by REV. C. I. SCOFIELD, D .D . Assisted by Eminent Scholars

MOUNT HERMON The conference grounds of the Mt. Hermon Association, situated as they are among the giant Sequoias of the Santa Cruz mountains, offer d most delightful summer resort to Christian people. It is a place wlflch meets the need of those who desire a restful out of door vacation, in one of Califor nia’s beauty spots of nature, without Jazz, but instead, within the atmos phere and influence of a sound spirit ual environment. The daily religious programs which are held on the grounds during the summer season began this year on Sunday, June 22, and will continue through Sunday, August 22. They are under the auspices of various confer ence groups; as, The Federated School of Missions, The Christian Endeavor, The Epworth League, etc. Mount Hermon -Association is un denominational, and like our own Bible Institute is based upon a strong, clear cut statement of Fundamental Doctrihe, to hold it ever true to the "Faith once for all delivered.’’ The beautiful grounds, with their many summer cottages almost hidden from view as they nestle within the foliage of trees great and small; the inspirational and soul satisfying ser vices amid the verdure of these eter nal hills, are the results of the vision and prayers, and faithful sacrificial work of consecrated men of God. The place is easily accessible, either by the Southern Pacific R. R., which has a station on the grounds, or by good paved automobile roads. The accommodations on the grounds are varied, including: Grafton Lodge, con ducted on the American plan, Mt. Hermon Inn, rooms only, with meals at the Mt. Hermon Cafeteria; Lake side Camp with tents; platform house keeping tents, and an auto camp ground. To secure a copy of the sea son’s program and any desired infor mation address— C. S. Price, General Manager, Mount Hermon, Santa Cruz, California. M ¿4* A BEAUTIFUL REPLY A pious Scotch minister being asked by a friend during his last illness, whether he thought himself dying, answered, “ Really, friend, I care not whether I am or not; for if I die I shall be with God; if I live, He will be with me.’ ’ V M M The creation of “ The Baptist Evan gelistic Bureau” is announced by its director, Dr. T. M. Hofmeister, with headquarters at "Winona," South Solon, Ohio. Its object: "The pro motion of Evangelical Soul-winning.” m M It would be well to send for your copy of "Scriptural Inspiration vs. Scientific Imagination” before the supply Is ex hausted.
