Discover and honor women changemakers throughout history! Girls will research and identify a historical female changemaker who has inspired them. Using mixed media girls will create a collage featuring all the things that made that individual amazing. Recycle, repurpose, reuse! Girls will discover ways artists use found materials to create art then they'll create their own art – a jean pocket, a paper bead, or a found object creature - from recycled materials.

Girl Scout Daisies will visit an animal shelter for a program on animal care and shelter operations. They will learn about the five basic freedoms of animals, investigate a mock animal control complaint, and interact with animals. The program includes a tour and Q&A session.
