Description
Girls will explore sewing by learning to use a needle and thread. They will use these skills to sew one daisy keychain by hand sewing pieces of felt together. Scouts do not need any prior sewing experience to enjoy and excel in this class. All materials provided. This is a one-hour workshop at $15 per Girl Scout. Girls will explore machine sewing. They will learn about sewing machines, practice sewing, then will sew 2 headbands using cotton quilting weight fabric and elastic, one for themselves and one to give to a friend. Scouts do not need any prior machine sewing experience to enjoy and excel in this class. All materials provided for this 1 ½ hour workshop at $20 per Girl Scout. Girls will continue to explore machine sewing through this next-level project. They will make a fold over wristlet using cotton quilting weight fabric and a cam snap. Completion of One For Me, One For You is required to advance this class. All materials provided. This is a 1 ½ hour $25 per Girl Scout workshop.
