Girls will meet with museum staff and learn why items are collected, how those items are collected, and the importance of those items to the community, while exploring the new exhibit, Becoming Johnson County . Expand your visit to the Lanesfield Historic Site to learn about farm life and chores and complete an actual one-room schoolhouse lesson from 1904. Girl Scout cost is $5. Cost per adult: Free for up to two supervising adults, $5 for additional adults. This program will need to be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance.

Students get a taste of what life was like for children attending a one-room school in 1904. In this fully immersive program, kids are encouraged to dress up. This 2-hour program can be adapted to mixed- age groups K-6th grade. $80 per group Length : 2 hours.
