Girls will learn what colleges are looking for and how the Girl Scout experience can inform the college search and make them stronger candidates in the admissions process. The workshop covers Steps 1, 2 and 3 of the College Knowledge badges. Girls will explore the qualifications college seek and identify how the knowledge and skills they possess as Girl Scouts will help to strengthen their college applications. A strong college entrance essay could make all the difference! Girls will learn to write an effective personal statement and a great supplemental essay that showcases their knowledge and skills gained through Girl Scouts. Girls will explore the latest trends around college admission standardized tests and discover resources to help them choose the right test and prep plan for them.
