Girls will explore the museum to locate paintings that express a particular mood or feeling, and then discover their unique artistic abilities as they work with an instructor to create their own painting of a subject based on a mood or feeling they choose. Length: 60-90 minutes. Girls will discover how to visually interpret the world in two dimensions without the use of a paintbrush and then will use their unique style to complete a self-portrait or a painting of a friend.
