NAJSTARIJA VODENICA U SRBIJI OLDEST WATERMILL IN SERBIA

The watermill on Gradac near Valjevo has many hidden stories, but also one mys- tery. Nobody knows who relocated it here from Jadra. It is 200 years old, though it has only been in this place for 30 years. It’s wheel is cared for by Sreten Milovanović. He left his home and family in a village on Povlen and has not been separated from the water- mill since then. And that’s how it’s been for 27 years. Old man Sreten mills flour from all types of grain, and the people are particularly interested in the kind made from whole-grain rye. He is assisted in everything by his grand- son Slavko, the heir to granddad’s watermill.

U svemu mu pomaže unuk Slavko, naslednik dedine vodenice.
