NIBA Connects Communities Through the 2025 NIBA Gala Lunch Series
With over 2,500 attendees, support from 24 partners, 10 award winners recognised, and $90,000 raised for local charities across five states, the NIBA Gala Lunches were a powerful demonstration of the NIBA community coming together to learn, celebrate, and shape change in the profession.
“NIBA plays a key role in building bridges across geographical boundaries by creating inclusive platforms where brokers can connect, share insights, and support each other,” said NIBA President Nick Cook. For the first time in our Gala Lunch Series, NIBA proudly partnered with local charities in each state to support meaningful community initiatives. “Aligning the NIBA Gala Lunches with a local charity extends broking values of care and service to the broader community,” said NIBA CEO Richard Klipin.
Arabella Gibson, CEO, Gidget Foundation Australia.
NIBA thanks the Gidget Foundation Australia as the charity partner of the NSW Gala Lunch. It supports the mental health of expectant, new and potential parents to ensure they receive accessible, timely and specialist care. The Foundation’s CEO Arabella Gibson shared how the story began. Thank you also to Craig Anderson for sharing his personal connection with the charity.
