As we wrap up the cooler months here in Queensland, I want to thank you all for the warmth and care you bring to our community
each day. Winter can sometimes feel a little slower, but I’ve loved seeing so many of you taking part in activities, catching up with visitors, and making the most of our indoor spaces. Now, with spring upon us, there’s a wonderful sense of renewal in the air. The gardens are coming to life again, and I encourage you to take advantage of our outdoor areas, whether it’s for a chat with friends, a cup of tea in the sunshine, or simply enjoying the fresh breezes. Please remember sunscreen and hats are always available if you need them. As we welcome more visitors and spend more time together in groups, I’d also like to remind everyone to keep up with good hand hygiene and stay on top of your vaccinations. Our nursing team is here to support you if you need any assistance with this. Spring is all about fresh starts, and as always, our focus is on supporting your independence, comfort, and wellbeing.
