NEW! Introduction to Playwriting Playwriting is an ancient writing form dating back to the Greeks and Shakespeare. This class will look at playwriting from a modern perspective and how you can begin to shape your modern story idea into a play that can be presented on stage with actors. The class will use scenes from existing modern plays as examples of how you can convey your ideas in a way that can be appealing to the actors and directors who will ultimately make your writing come to life. Gain tips and techniques to take your short film idea to a script that can be filmed on a teenage budget and timeframe - maybe even using your cell phone!
