Advanced Small Engine Repair For the serious small engine mechanic, this course provides you with advanced instruction on diag- nosing, disassembling, and repairing a variety of transmissions and power trains. Hydraulic systems and advanced electrical systems diagnostics will be covered. Upon successful completion of the Advanced Small Engine Repair, students will be prepared to test for the written section of the National Small Engine Certification program. A list of required hand tools will be provided before the first night of class (all other tools and equipment provided). Prerequisite: successful completion of Small Engine Repair class. Intermediate Shielded Metal Arc Welding - Stick Advance your skills in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) with a focus on fillet and groove welds required for Structural Weld Code tests. Participants learn how to adjust machines, prepare materials, and apply stick welds on carbon steel in various positions (horizontal and vertical).
