Backyard Bugs Discover the incredible world of insects, from elegant dragonflies to shiny tiger beetles to flying flowers (butterflies). We’ll look for eggs and caterpillars and the evidence they leave behind. We’ll look at real bugs to discover how they avoid getting eaten, plus we’ll test out way’s insects eat. Expect lots of learning disguised as fun and games, plus catching bugs in nets for those up-close looks. Campers will take home great tools and activities to continue their explorations. Travel with us through the solar system to explore the planets, stars, sun, and moon. We will explore the solar system and learn about the NASA space program. Activities in this exciting adventure include solar system role-play, model-making, virtual trips through space, and much more. BEFORE CARE
Before Care for College for Kids Before Care will be offered each week of camp. Par- ents may drop their children off at 7:30 am and HCC staff will deliver them to their camp. Before Care is not included in camp registration; students must be registered for Before Care in addition to their camp.
