W orking for PepsiCo gave me a chance, from day one, to be a part of the team which was among the first to recognize that, in today’s challenging ecosystem, achieving unparalleled financial re - sults must be founded on sustainable business with constant monitoring of society’s needs. From the very start of our business operation in Serbia back in 2008, we have been guided by those principles and we have been trying to listen to consumers’ needs, working for the benefit of the local community and obeying the sustainability princi - ples, selflessly thinking about the gen - erations to come. Performance with Purpose platform, and in 10 years of its existence, we managed to prove that it is possible for a company not only to deliver substantial top and bottom line results but also to do good for the ecosystem and the community. PERFORMANCE WITH PURPOSE 2025 Back in 2006, PepsiCo launched Per- formance with Purpose platform, and in 10 years of its existence, we man - aged to prove that it is possible for a company not only to deliver substan - tial top and bottom line results but also to do good for the ecosystem and the community.  PERFORMANCE WITH PURPOSE 2025 Positive results brought additional stimulation to continue with this prac- tise. So this year, PepsiCo present - ed Sustainability Agenda until 2025. We are aware that the world is chang - ing, alongside consumers’ needs, and that most countries are now fighting against obesity or malnourishment, excessive consumption of natural re - sources and social and economic in- justices. The aim of this platform is to help this fight, with focus on three key areas – products, planet and peo - ple. Back in 2006, PepsiCo launched Positive results brought additional stimulation to continue with this practise. So this year, PepsiCo presented Sustainability Agenda until 2025. We focus on three key areas – products, planet and people. We offer to our

ucts of excellent taste and top quality, with reduced ecological footprint of the production system, thus protect - ing our planet. At the same time we are encouraging gender equality, em - powering people to realize their full potential. Each activity is planned and carefully coordinated with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, with the aim of supporting the expansion of the mutual global agenda. CARE FOR THE LOCAL COMMUNITY AND ENVIRONMENT An important characteristic of our business operation in Serbia is work- ing on economic empowerment of lo- cal communities and providing op- portunities to talented people to work in a stimulating and creative environ- ment. On annual level, we buy up to 35,000 tons of potato grown on dozen, local Serbian farms, which is an in- dicator of our commitment to the lo- cal market. Additionally, we have suc - cessfully implemented innovative solutions for environmental protec- tion which have enabled reduction of CO2 emission, a substantial increase in the efficiency of water consump - tion, water purification system in our Maglić plant, to name just a few. We support youth and creativity, offer - ing young people a chance to par - ticipate in PepsiCo Start programme and, thus, receiving adequate train - ing and having a chance to earn a job and career prospect in our company. For the second time in a row, in 2016 we won the prestigious Top Employ - ers Europe and Top Employer Serbia consumers products of excellent taste and top quality, with reduced ecological footprint of the production system, thus protecting our planet. I am extremely proud of the fact that we have not abandoned principles of sustainable business, even during the past several years which we were operating in a challenging market environment. Still, this year we see early signs of recovery, and in this new reality we have managed to seize the opportunity by maintaining a steady market position, bringing accretive innovation in our product portfolio. Our brands Chipsy, Clipsy, Pardon and Gud are well positioned in their categories and that gives us great joy, but behind every success there is hard work. We are constantly developing our portfolio of products aiming to offer high quality products at affordable prices to our consumers. Furthermore, we aim at making our products widely available. So, besides extensive presence in Serbia and Bosnia, we have expanded our exports to the surrounding countries and across West Europe, which represents great success for the local team and brands. All of us, at Marbo Product - a member of PepsiCo group, were given an exciting opportunity and a great responsibility to achieve business results while caring for the world we live in, and our 1,200 employees are all together on this journey.
