Studying abroad for a year is an opportunity to experience new cultures, meet people from around the world and develop a global mind-set in preparation for your future career. The School of Management has a number of international partner institutions where students can study for a full academic year. Our Year Abroad degrees are four-year degree programmes, where your third year is spent studying abroad. The 12 month Year Abroad scheme is credit-bearing and will count toward your overall degree grade. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF DOING A YEAR ABROAD? You will develop and enhance a variety of invaluable skills whilst studying abroad for a year.

I completed a year studying abroad at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada. The best part was getting to travel and meet loads of new people. This allowed me to expand my horizons and grow my professional network. I would 100% recommend the experience, it has been the favourite part of my degree so far.
