Bob Bolen Public Safety Complex “As One,” a dramatic new sculpture by artist Beliz Brother, is the latest commissioned artwork to be added to the Fort Worth Public Art Collection. The sculpture is based on the shape of Fort Worth’s police and fire patches, with two halves intersecting and supporting each other, expressing solidarity between the depart- ments. Inside the large, curved forms, unique shapes of numerous patches collected by the Fort Worth Fire and Police Departments are water-jet cut into 1-inch-thick steel, creating an overall pattern that casts intri- cate shadow play on the plaza at the entrance to the Administration Building at 505 W. Felix Street.
K9 Bronze Memorial
A big FWPD Thank You to Allan and Debra Rodger for their generous support of our department - specifically a K9 Memorial bronze statue to honor all of our fallen K9s. The K9 Memorial is located at 505 W. Felix Street. On December 11, Mayor Betsy Price, City Council members, Chief Joel F. Fitzgerald, and other members of the de- partment recognized Allan and Debra Rodgers for their generous donations and contributions to the Police De- partment.
