“At both ARC manufacturing plants, we are able to ad- dress any issue in-house in order to minimize lead times. All journal repairs are made with true weld versus inferi- or sprayed materials which easily fail. If a roller needs too many repairs or the wall is too thin to maintain OEM in- tegrity, a newly fabricated replacement roller is suggested. These new rollers are dynamically balanced to ensure no deflection issues at high speeds. “For the corrugator wet end, both engraved and matte finished glue applicator rollers are routinely supplied with a cladded stainless-steel surface that is guaranteed against rust or corrosion for five years. Meter rollers are supplied with either tungsten carbide or our premium chrome ox- ide ceramic finish for superior wear and durability. On the dry end, knife rollers are supplied with tungsten carbide, molybdenum or carboxylated nitrile, whatever the OEM recommendation. “On flexo folder gluers and die cutters, laser engraved anilox rollers are manufactured with the latest laser tech- nology, featuring Fibretronics™ and Twin Track™ capability, which provide the most efficient and consistent engraving quality for superior graphics. Every ceramic roller receives an infused surface protectant to eliminate the possibility of corrosion or blistering. Upper feed rollers are supplied with durable nitrile material in either single or dual durom- eters. A visual wear grid can be applied to the feed roller surface to indicate when the roller becomes undersized to avoid adding more pressure which leads to board crush. “Our field technicians routinely perform roller audits to determine whether rollers are worn, damaged or plugged, in order to provide timely maintenance schedules for plant personnel.
