We continue our service by gathering with fellow veterans. We call and reach out to those who served by our side. We stood together then, and we stand together now. August 26 th Library Noon Program noon – 1:00 pm North Platte Public Library “Winning the Vote” by Dianne Bystrom This presentation will trace the history of the 72- year campaign for women’s right to vote in the United States, focusing on the final winning effort from 1915-1920 that led to the ratification of the 19 th Amendment.

Sheldon State Wide Exhibit 11:00 am – 4:00 pm Prairie Arts Center Sheldon Statewide is an annual exhibition and outreach program of Sheldon Museum of Art at the University of Nebraska. As a part of the land-grant research Institution, Sheldon shares the university’s mission of extending its offerings across the state.
