GES Cell-Max™ media is an engineered, acid resistant, inorganic substrate designed to be highly porous with uneven shapes thus providing a balanced combination of small pores and large spaces. This combination provides a large surface area creating an ideal environment for microorganisms and low static pressure. GES Cell-Max™- 1 media measures 3 ⁄ 8 ″-1″ in size and is a great fit for automated irrigation systems. Open and interconnected pores guarantee fast drainage and high capillary action, which is key for the treatment of high levels of H₂S in Bio-Scrubbers®. GES Cell-Max™-2 media measures 1 ⁄ 16 ″– 7 ⁄ 16 ″ in size, allowing for fast drainage and extreme aeration of blends. These stones can be blended into any soil to increase aeration and drainage and eliminate compaction in hydroponic applications.

Ecologically Friendly The media serves as part of an ecosystem for the growth of a diverse colony of microorganisms for the treatment of H 2 S odors. 100% Recycled The media substrate is manufactured entirely from post-consumer recycled glass. Stable The media will not compact, degrade, or decompose over its lifespan.
Acid Resistant The media is acid resistant and able to tolerate a low-pH (<1) environment over its entire lifespan. Locally Produced All media and components are products of the USA. Full Service & Warranty Cell-Max™-1 and Cell-Max™-2 media is installed on-site by the contractor and carries a 10-year warranty.
