T HERE is certainly no objection from heaven regarding times of joy, happiness, gladness, and heart satisfaction. There is objection to sin and those things which lead to it. So we are instructed to "abstain from all appearance of evil.” Our Lord would guard us against the evil things which result in sorrow of heart and a wrecked life. Four questions may be asked concerning the things involved in dating: 1. Will it please God? 2. Will it be a blessing to the other person? 3. Will it bring blessing to me? 4. Will I be pleased about it before the judgment throne? Let these four questions direct your actions. Do A ll T hings to H is G lory 1 C or . 10:31 The Lord made us male and fe male for the honor of His name, th e' blessing of human life, and the de velopment of the home. Nothing on earth is more beautiful to see than a godly, upright communion be tween two people who desire to be knit together. Much may be said and done that will be a real blessing to each other, and at the same time will bring joy to the heart. God is glorified in those lives which par ticipate in saying and doing helpful and profitable things for each other. If in the dating marriage is in view, the planning and the conversation will be delightfully helpful if done in the fear of God, and with His honor considered. Pray for The King's Business

Do A ll T hings in H is N ame C ol . 3:17 Since Jesus’ children are called by His name, they should remember that their actions reflect upon His name. Believers are called Chris tians because they follow the One whose name is .Christ. Saved ones constitute the Bride of Christ, and, therefore, it is expected that their actions and desires will be such as to bring glory to the name they wear. Wives of great men seek to act in accordance with the position occupied by their husbands. The same principle applies to Christian living. Christians cannot expect the unsaved, who are strangers to God, to care about the name of the Lord. But those who have taken His name upon themselves should act toward one another in a manner that will honor that precious name. Do A ll T hings H eartily C ol . 3:23 Usually there is hesitancy on the part of a Christian in doing things which he should not do. One cannot enter heartily into that which he knows is displeasing to God. No sin cere believer can enter wholeheart edly into doing the things which may bring sorrow and trouble to himself, and grief to the Holy Spirit. In order to act heartily, the action must be holy in nature. One may be enthusiastic and glad in doing the things which are legitimate and proper. The Christian is not to live by the world’s standards; he should learn that he is living unto the Lord, and will answer to Him for the path he takes. Let the fellow ship on dates reflect an honest heart before the Lord. W alk B efore G od G en . 17:1 This is God’s counsel to one of His own children. He does not ask the unsaved to walk before Him. He makes no request of those outside the family, but He does request those who profess His Name to walk al ways as before His face. This refers to the walk in the daytime, as well as the walk at night. It refers to the time when we are alone, afid when We are with a “date." The Lord would remind us that some day our lives will be brought in review before Him, and then we shall be glad that we “walked” according to His will while we were sitting on a park bench in the shadows. The Lord has said that whatever is done in the dark will be brought out in the light eventually. T H E K I N G ' S B U S I N E S S
