Staff from the stroke team lead by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Lewis Marshall shared their comprehensive stroke care protocols, detailing their established procedures for rapid diagnosis, intervention, and rehabilitation. They presented their evidence-based approaches and clinical pathways designed to optimize patient outcomes following a stroke incident. The Senegalese professionals, in turn, provided insights into their healthcare system and the specific challenges and successes they encounter in managing stroke patients within their context. A significant point of discussion was the role of technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the future of stroke care.
