Fall in love with Borneo as you discover the exotic wildlife and spectacular landscapes of this tropical island paradise.

Travel from the UK to Malaysia to begin your family adventure in Kota Kinabalu. Spend your first day getting to know the local lifestyles as you explore the bustling waterfront market, before attending a welcome meeting in the evening. Explore Tanjung Aru Beach on a stand-up paddle board, wading through the hidden coves and learning about the vibrant marine life from your guide. The rest of the day is free for you and the family to spend at your own leisure. Continue to the Poring Hot Springs for a scenic canopy walk, where you can take in the surrounding views of giant bamboo trees, learn about the hot sulphur spring baths, and enjoy a refreshing dip in the natural rock pools.

Travel to Kampung Batu Puteh, a small village on the banks of the Kinabatangan River, and meet leaders of KOPEL, a local community-run conservation organisation. Head out on a sunset cruise up the river in search of wildlife before heading to your jungle camp. Drive to Sandakan and visit the Sandakan War Memorial, noticing the strong Cantonese influence seen in the Chinese temples, local cuisine and lively market. Later, board a speedboat to Turtle Island, passing small fishing villages and bamboo fish traps on route. Once darkness covers the island, watch in awe as giant green turtles come ashore to lay their eggs and spend the night on this beautiful island. Head back to the mainland to the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. For your final night, get the family together for one last dinner with the group.
