After completing your hike, explore the Lost City of the Incas with an expert guide. Learn about the history and gain insights into the awe-inspiring mountaintop citadel while wandering through ancient dwellings, stone temples and sculpted terraces. The next part of your journey takes you to the Amazon Jungle. Head out on a wildlife spotting night walk and uncover local flora and fauna. An expert naturalist guide will be there to locate hidden creatures so keep your eyes peeled for snakes, tarantulas, owls and poison dart frogs. The next day, expect to see even more of the fascinating wildlife on guided excursions led by expert naturalists at nearby oxbow lakes and along jungle trails.

Enjoy a full day guided tour of the Sacred Valley, taking time to visit the G Adventures-supported women’s weaving co-op, witnessing for yourself local weaving and dyeing techniques used to create garments and souvenirs. Afterwards, in the rural village of Cuyo Chico, meet the community famed for their pottery skills. Trek over spectacular terrain on a hike through the Inca Trail, easing into the adventure with a day of hiking the meandering streams, stunning Andean scenery, and ancient Incan ruins. The next day a steeper path awaits you on your way to Dead Woman’s Pass, the highest point of the trek at 4,198m.
