Dellutri Oct 2017

Business Spotlight

TOYS FOR TOTS

We know that it is only October, but December will be here before we know it! Each year, our Fort Myers office participates in Toys for Tots, and we are proud to be an official drop-off location! It is certainly one of our favorite events of the year, with enthusiastic participation from our staff. Year after year, our clients and neighbors outdo themselves. It’s fun to load the SUVs and pickup trucks to the max and drive them down to the sorting station in our own mini Dellutri Law Group caravan. Who knows for 2017, though? If we can collect enough gifts, maybe we will just deliver them in the Dellutri double-decker bus! Please help us make that a reality!

Refried Bean Poblanos With Cheese

Janice Kelly has been a part of our office for the last 14 years, and she has been a legal assistant in our personal injury department for many of those years. In case you haven’t noticed a trend in the last couple months, we have a team that we like to call “The Lifers” here. Many of our employees have been here for more than 10 years and we love it (and them!).

Ingredients • 4 medium poblano chilies, halved and seeded

• ½ cup picante sauce

• 1 cup (4 ounces) pre- shredded reduced-fat 4-cheese Mexican blend • Chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

• 1 (16-ounce) can fat-free refried beans

• 1 (8.8-ounce) pouch microwaveable cooked long- grain rice

In fact, you may remember last month we spotlighted Ronnie Fedorczyk from our bankruptcy department. We thought this was a fun picture to include this month since they both started with us as our receptionists 14 years ago. In an off chance, we managed to catch them both up front together again recently. Janice is an extremely important member of our personal injury team. She is often the first to deal with clients and/ or potential clients. Janice has a way of making each person know they are not alone and that it is not their fault. Her calm and understanding demeanor make her a crowd favorite. We often get compliments and emails about the care Janice gives to each client. Thank you, Janice!

Directions 1. Place chili halves, cut sides up, on a round microwave-safe plate. Cover with wax paper; microwave on high 3 minutes. 2. While chilies cook, combine beans, rice, and picante sauce in a medium bowl, stirring well. Spoon bean mixture into chili halves. Cover with wax paper; microwave on high 2 minutes. 3. Uncover chilies, sprinkle each half with 2 tablespoons cheese, and microwave on high 1–2 minutes or until cheese melts. Sprinkle with cilantro, if desired.
