ICHMOND, VA — Mi ke Lowry , s e - nior vice president of NorthMarq Capital ’s Rich- mond-based regional office, arranged the $4.165 million refinance of Emporia Market- place, a 79,370 s/f retail space located in 200 Market Dr., Emporia, VA. The transaction was structured with a 10-year term and 30-year amortiza- tion schedule. NorthMarq arranged financing for the bor- rower through its relationship with a CMBS lender. Food Lion, Peebles and Family Dol- lar represent the property’s major tenants. n HICKSVILLE, NY — Broadway Mall, located in Hicksville added several new tenants as it continues enhancements to the Long Island retail and entertain- ment destination. Noodles & Company, Blaze Pizza, Blink Fitness, On the Bor- der, Subway, Doc Popcorn, Haagen-Dazs and Cinnabon are now open for business, and Yankee Candle is com- ing soon. “Broadway Mall has a loyal following that we are pleased to continue pleasantly sur- prising, as well as driving new traffic to our popular long island destination with fast casual food options and a popular new fitness pro- vider,” said JohnRossi , gen- eral manager of Broadway Mall. “As well-established brands, these new tenants will serve the needs of our community as well piquing the interest of tourists.” New Tenants Invented by a couple in Manhattan, Doc Popcorn serves naturally flavored popcorn that tastes great but is much healthier than traditional popcorn treats.
