Providers need to carry out awareness-building campaigns targeting consumers and other stakeholders to improve understanding of cybersecurity risks. 1. Cybersecurity Campaigns a. Organizing multimedia campaigns through digital platforms, social media, trading apps, and nationwide traditional media to educate the public about cyber threats, best practices in data protection, securing personal wallets, and raising awareness about scams. b. Holding public seminars featuring experts in cybersecurity, blockchain, and regulators to discuss cyber threats and protection strategies. c. Special attention must be given to raising awareness about social engineering methods and dangers, both for consumers and Providers’ employees. 2. Consumer-Focused Education a. Conducting interactive seminars for consumers and stakeholders. b. Providing regular online security tips or consumer guides, with periodic updates via email or apps, such as instructions on enabling 2FA/MFA, tips on verifying transactions, or how to avoid phishing links. c. Offering interactive features such as security checklists that can be directly accessed by consumers through a trading app. 3. Collaboration in Awareness Building a. Collaborating with cybersecurity companies and other financial institutions to enhance awareness. b. Engaging with national cybersecurity agencies and AKD/ AK industry forums to align with best practices, respond to emerging attack trends, and support national cybersecurity strategies.
